STARTUP CYCLING 2017 is all about knowledge transfer, new business models and promotion of innovation. The aim of the event is to bring more innovations into the bicycle industry and thus strengthen the role of the bicycle for the urban mobility of tomorrow. Established companies in the industry, innovative start-ups and new cooperation partners come together to foster an innovation milieu through mutual inspiration and cooperation and to promote a new mobility. In addition to the BIKEBRAINPOOL members and other representatives of the bicycle industry, the event is aimed at bike and mobility start-ups as well as players in the mobility and logistics sector, the financial sector and the media sector. In terms of content, the event focuses on the topics of cycling, e-mobility, digitalization, sharing and finance.

BIKEBRAINPOOL invites young entrepreneurs, start-ups and founders to present their ideas and solutions around the wheel in the context of STARTUP CYCLING 2017 before a high-profile jury. The three most innovative teams have the prospect of an extensive exhibition package with a stand at the VELO events, an annual membership in the BIKEBRAINPOOL as well as extensive consulting services from the BIKEBRAINPOOL network. The application period ends on 30.09.2017.
