On October 27th, the German Trade Office Taipei organized the “German-Taiwanese Smart City and Sustainable Mobility Summit.” The summit included contributions from the Director General of the German Institute Taipei Dr. Thomas Prinz; Taipei Mayor Wen-Je Ko; City of Karlsruhe Mayor Dr. Frank Mentrup; ITS mobility Managing Director Florian Rehr; the Director of the Taipei Smart City Project Management Office and Secretary General of GOSMART Dr. Chen-Yu Lee; as well representatives of seven leading German Smart City companies.
The project was funded as part of the “SME Market Entry Programme” by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
