EUROBike, Europe's largest bike fair for the first time with a separate Eurobike Start-Up Award. It was great fun to be a member of the first jury of the EuroBike Start-Up Award and to give some lessons in EuroBike Start-up Academy. There were 74 applications and 20 finalists have pitched at the stage. All finalists produced at least the first prototypes of their products. The bandwidth was great. From safety accessories such as
TriEye, - glasses with an integrated rear-view mirror- over
Trenux the concept of a bicycle trailer that folds up and fits onto the carrier rack up to complete system such as
Wink Bar, a handlebar with integrated battery and navigation system based on light signals. Great ideas already converted into products. Bike really rock!
