 Definition: Sustainable Business

Analogous to this definition by the Brundtlandt Commission, we define "green" or sustainable business as follows:

“Sustainable business necessitates an economy which utilises its present factors of production in a way that these will be also at the disposal of future generations. Sustainable business therefore implies care- and mindful as well as an efficient use of the production factors labor, soil, capital."
